The Role

We are looking for a motivated and physically fit Solar Panel Labourer to join our team. You will be working across both commercial and domestic sites, assisting our lead installers in the fitting of solar PV systems.

This is a fast-paced role that requires a mix of ground-based support and rooftop installation. If you’re a hard worker who isn’t afraid of heights or a bit of North Sea wind, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of mounting systems and solar panels.
• Loading and unloading materials and ensuring the site is kept clean and safe.
• Working at height on scaffolding and roof structures.
• Supporting the lead electrician/installer with basic tool handling and cable routing.

What You’ll Need

• Valid CSCS Card: (Essential) You won't be able to access our commercial sites without one.
• Site Experience: Proven experience working on construction or busy installation sites.
• Working at Height: You must be comfortable and competent working on roofs.
• Physical Fitness: This is a demanding role involving heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Reliability: Based in Grimsby, you’ll need to be punctual for site starts across the region (including Hull).

We will provide you with a van, fuel card, tools and a uniform as well as a great rate of pay, overtime available at time and a half and double time rates.

The majority of our work is local so you won’t be travelling for hours on end to get to and from jobs.

Interested? We need you to have -

• At least five years’ experience as an electrician with EICR testing experience
• Driving licence
• Time served electrician
• 18^th edition
• City & Guilds 2391 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
• IPAF, PASMA and solar panel installation advantageous
